Role Description
Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics, electronic components, PCBs and circuit diagrams, along with familiarity with electronic test instruments, basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and good communication and documentation skills.
Desired Experience
- Fresher’s with BE/B.Tech qualification
- 0 -2 years of experience in hardware testing, electronics testing or production testing is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, circuits and test equipment’s.
- Willingness to learn and work in a production/integration environments.
- Support testing and validation for shock, vibration, drop, ingress protection, and thermal cycling.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings per ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Work with manufacturing and suppliers on DFM/DFA, tolerances, machining, welding, sheet metal processes.
- Generate design documentation, BOMs, test plans, and ECOs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical direction within the mechanical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, electrical, and reliability testing of electronic hardware.
- Execute test cases and document test results accurately.
- Identify, analyze, and report hardware defects.
- Assist in debugging PCB assemblies and electronic circuits.
- Use electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
- Follow quality standards and safety procedures during testing.
- Support environmental, endurance, ESS vibration and other qualification tests as required.
