Job Title: Planning Engineer – (Residential Projects)
Location: Vennala,Ernakulam
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with expertise in residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource planning, and coordination to ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain project schedules using MS Project and Excel
- Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project timelines to align with client schedule of payment.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned schedules.
- Identify delays, critical path activities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management review.
- Monitor manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
- Assist in project cost control and forecasting.
- Ensure achievement of project milestones and contractual deadlines.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide planning support.
- Maintain project documentation and progress records.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering with Dip in Construction Management
Technical proficiency:
- Well versed in Ms Excel, Word and AutoCAD
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling of residential construction projects.
