Job Summary:
SMK Modulars LLP is looking for practical, fast-learning Machine Operators to join our Vadodara manufacturing facility. If you have solid basic experience in modular panel processing, we will upskill and train you on our high-end Homag setup (CNC Beam Saw, Automatic Edgebander, and CNC Router).
We are looking for operators who want to grow. Candidates who are open to being cross-trained to run multiple machines will be given top priority!
Key Responsibilities:
Operate assigned woodworking machinery safely (with supervised, step-by-step training on Homag software).
Read and execute basic cutting lists, panel dimensions, and production job sheets.
Handle raw materials (MDF, Particle Board, HDHMR, Laminates) correctly to prevent surface scratching, edge chipping, and material wastage.
Measure finished components with high precision to ensure they match the drawing before passing them to the assembly team.
Perform routine daily machine cleanup, dust extraction checks, and basic preventive care.
Work collaboratively with the Production Head to hit daily output targets.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience operating any standard modular furniture machinery (Panel Saws, Edgebanders, or Routers of any brand—e.g., Biesse, SCM, Jai Industries, Altendorf, Felder).
Homag Experience: Highly preferred, but NOT mandatory.
The Non-Negotiables:
You must know how to read a measuring tape and Vernier caliper down to the exact millimeter.
You must understand basic panel alignment and grain direction.
Zero compromise on shop-floor safety.
Mindset: You shouldn't just want a "shift job"—you should be eager to learn world-class German machinery and increase your market value.
Compensation & Perks:
Salary: ₹18,000 to ₹25,000 per month (fixed based on your current machine familiarity).
Bonus: Annual performance & festive bonus.
