As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The lead ensures that development practices meet established standards, focusing on scalability, performance, and alignment with business goals. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of project progress are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering an environment of innovation and quality assurance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to maintain high-quality software output.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure DevOps, Terraform.
- Good to Have Skills: Gitlab.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines within cloud environments.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and automated testing frameworks.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 6 years of experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- The candidate should be willing to work from client location in Kharadi, Pune for 3 days a week.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
