Business Development Manager – Auto Components
Location: Jalandhar (On-site)

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the auto components sector.
- Generate leads through prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Qualify prospects and convert opportunities into business.
- Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements and propose customized solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close business deals.
- Track market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans.
- Manage and update sales pipeline using CRM or similar tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
- Travel extensively across different states/regions (12–15 days per month).
Required Skills
- Strong B2B sales and business development experience.
- Expertise in prospecting, lead qualification, and deal closure.
- Ability to develop and manage long-term customer relationships.
- Good understanding of auto components, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in market research and competitor analysis.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales pipeline management tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development.
- Experience in Auto Components, Automotive, Engineering, Industrial Products, or related sectors preferred.
Travel Requirement
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings, business development activities, trade fairs, and industry events.
- Expected travel: 12–15 days per month.
