The Security Operator role involves monitoring security systems, managing access control, and providing coverage as a physical security officer when needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and visitors, maintaining a secure environment, and responding promptly to incidents and alarms.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

Actively monitor and review CCTV Footage for any suspicious or unusual activity,

Maintain CCTV equipment and ensure all cameras are operational.

Report any incidents captured by CCTV to the Security Manager promptly.

Oversee alarm systems and respond to any alarm triggers.

Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders in case of a serious alarm event.

Test alarm systems regularly to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Issue and manage access badges for new employees and visitors.

Maintain accurate records of badge issuance and ensure expired or terminated employee badges are disabled.

Conduct audits of badge access logs to ensure compliance with security policies.

Serve as a reliever for physical security guards as needed.

Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Escort visitors and contractors around the site, ensuring adherence to security procedures.

Document and report security breaches, incidents, or any anomalies to the Security Team Lead.

Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports for management review.

All other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a security operator or similar role. Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
Experience with electronic security systems, including CCTV and alarm systems.

Excellent observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Physical fitness and the ability to perform patrol duties.

Certifications in security operations or law enforcement (preferred).
Working Conditions:
