Role Overview
Support, maintain, and enhance reservoir engineering functionalities and integrated reservoir-to-surface workflows within ForCFR, a digital platform integrating reservoir performance, production forecasting, and carbon footprint (GHG emissions) assessment for field development decision-making. Ensure reliable data integration, workflow automation, and continuous improvement of engineering workflows across affiliates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own and support the integration of reservoir engineering workflows within ForCFR, ensuring seamless data exchange between reservoir simulation tools (INTERSECT/GAP) and the digital platform.
2. Validate, test, and troubleshoot automated workflows and export processes to guarantee accurate, reliable, and efficient transfer of technical data across engineering applications.
3. Conduct reservoir engineering analyses and sensitivity studies, supporting production forecasting, field development evaluations, and operational decision-making.
4. Ensure data quality and consistency by validating engineering inputs, workflow outputs, and integration results used by reservoir and production engineers.
5. Gather business needs and define functional improvements, translating reservoir engineering requirements into digital solution enhancements that improve user efficiency and workflow performance.
6. Provide technical and functional support to affiliates and end users, helping engineering teams adopt and effectively utilize ForCFR capabilities.
7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and HQ stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy new functionalities, integrations, and workflow enhancements.
8. Drive continuous improvement of integrated reservoir-to-surface workflows, promoting best practices in automation, data management, and digital reservoir engineering.
9. Act as a bridge between reservoir engineering and digital product development, ensuring engineering requirements are effectively translated into practical and scalable digital solutions.
