Position Title: Gym Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for Gym Manager to oversee the daily operations of the gym. The Gym Manager will be responsible operation for managing staff, assisting members, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe workout environment. The role also involves promoting gym services and improving member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
- Oversee daily gym operations
- Ensure equipment is functioning and maintained
- Monitor cleanliness and safety standards
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
2. Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise trainers, instructors, and support staff
- Prepare staff schedules and shifts
- Evaluate staff performance
- Conduct team meetings and training sessions
- Maintain a positive work environment
3. Customer Service & Member Relations
- Handle member inquiries and complaints
- Ensure members have a positive gym experience
- Assist with membership sign-ups and renewals
- Maintain member retention programs
- Build relationships with regular clients
4. Sales & Marketing
- Promote gym memberships and fitness programs
- Plan marketing campaigns and promotions
- Organize events, challenges, or fitness programs
- Work toward monthly membership targets
- Manage social media or local promotions
5. Financial Management
- Monitor revenue and expenses
- Manage budgets and financial reports
- Track membership sales and renewals
- Handle supplier payments and equipment purchases
6. Facility & Equipment Management
- Ensure fitness equipment maintenance
- Coordinate repairs and replacements
- Maintain safe workout environments
- Check locker rooms, workout areas
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in gym or fitness center management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and marketing experience with the ability to drive membership growth.
- Knowledge of fitness trends and health regulations.
- Ability to handle financial and administrative tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in fitness management software.

- Member retention rates.
- Monthly revenue and expense management.
