A Sales & Tendering Manager for a transformer manufacturing plant is a techno-commercial role responsible for driving revenue, generating leads, and converting bids into profitable orders. They align factory production capabilities with market demands, ensuring a steady stream of orders while maintaining strict profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tendering & Bidding: Analyzing technical specifications (IS/IEC standards), preparing Techno-Commercial offers, and managing bid strategies for government utilities (DISCOMs/TRANSCOs), EPC contractors, and private industries.
- Costing & Pricing: Collaborating with design and engineering teams to estimate raw material costs (CRGO steel, copper) and define the optimal transfer and selling price.
- Business Development: Mapping competitor activities, tracking upcoming tenders (e.g., from power grids and renewable energy developers), and influencing technical specifications before tenders are released.
- Order Execution Support: Acting as the bridge between the customer, factory planning, and production. They handle drawing/GTP (Guarantee Technical Particulars) approvals, inspection coordination, and commercial sign-offs.
- Collections & Post-Sales: Monitoring accounts, ensuring timely advance collections, LC (Letter of Credit) processing, and clearing outstanding dues.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
