Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying potential clients and generating leads through research, networking, and other methods.
- Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Build contacts with existing clients and do upselling
- Market Research and Analysis: Understanding market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Proposal Development: Creating and presenting Estimates and followup till closure.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiating terms and conditions with clients and managing contracts.
- Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing business development strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communication on Orders receipts and Project status to clients
- Building a network of contacts
- Overseeing growth projects
- Making sales projections and forecasting revenue
