Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated IB PYP Co-Teacher with 2–3 years of teaching experience to support classroom learning and student development within the Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborative teaching practices, and a student-centered approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering engaging classroom instruction aligned with the IB PYP framework.
- Support differentiated learning strategies to meet diverse student needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist in preparing learning materials, classroom displays, and assessments.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, and support staff.
- Supervise students during classroom activities, events, and transitions.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and promote student participation.
- Support documentation of student progress and classroom observations.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
- Maintain effective communication with parents when required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or relevant subject specialization.
- 2–3 years of teaching or co-teaching experience in primary grades.
- Familiarity with IB PYP curriculum is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
