Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 CTC
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Technician to install, operate, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and steam-based equipment at our centralized kitchen. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted production by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and maintaining equipment safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of kitchen machinery, boilers, steam systems, conveyors, motors, and pumps.
- Carry out daily equipment inspections and start-up checks.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Maintain electrical panels, utility connections, and safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with boiler, electrical, and fire safety regulations.
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and spare parts records.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Train kitchen staff on safe equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent trade.
- Boiler Attendant Certification is an added advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial/commercial kitchen equipment, boilers, steam systems, or manufacturing maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.
