We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Economics & Commerce Teacher to teach students from Classes 9–12 (ICSE, ISC, CBSE, IGCSE and State Boards). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify concepts while preparing students for board examinations and competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Economics and Commerce to students of Classes 9–12.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based lessons.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and mock tests.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Help students prepare for school examinations and board exams.
- Maintain attendance and academic progress records.
- Identify learning gaps and provide additional academic support.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
- Contribute to creating study materials, notes, and question papers.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and motivating classroom environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Strong command of Economics and Commerce concepts.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Familiarity with board exam patterns and marking schemes.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and presentations.
