Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot customer issues, and ensure smooth operation of Livebox's products and services. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Livebox products and services.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot OTT platforms, streaming services, websites, mobile applications, servers, and related technologies.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.
- Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of customer issues, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Assist clients with product onboarding, configuration, and training.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve service quality.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer support tickets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Work in rotational shifts or provide support during weekends/public holidays when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and internet technologies.
- Basic understanding of web hosting, DNS, SSL, cloud platforms, streaming protocols, OTT solutions, or server management.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
- Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Language Requirements
Candidates must be fluent in:
- English (Mandatory)
- Hindi
- Kannada
- Malayalam
(Knowledge of Tamil, Telugu, or other regional languages will be an added advantage.)
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in Technical Support, IT Support, Help Desk, Network Support, System Administration, or Customer Support is preferred.
