Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and guest-focused Floor Executive / Senior Supervisor to manage day-to-day floor operations and supervise the service team. The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience in F&B operations, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to independently handle guest requirements, complaints, service recovery, and operational decisions on the floor.
The role requires excellent coordination with the Kitchen, Bar, Banquets, and other departments to ensure smooth service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to operational standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day floor operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead and monitor the service team during shifts and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Allocate staff to sections based on business volume, reservations, and operational requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate shift planning, staff deployment, breaks, and daily assignments.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are completed as per SOP.
- Maintain high standards of guest service and overall guest experience.
- Personally attend to guests, understand their requirements, and ensure timely service.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally and take appropriate service recovery actions.
- Act as a decision-maker on the floor for routine operational and guest-related matters.
- Escalate critical guest or operational issues to the Restaurant Manager/F&B Manager when required.
- Monitor table turnover, service flow, order accuracy, and ticket times to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen and Bar teams to ensure timely order preparation and service.
- Follow up on delayed orders and communicate proactively with guests regarding service delays.
- Ensure all service team members follow established SOPs and service standards.
- Monitor daily revenue, upselling opportunities, and team performance against assigned targets.
- Encourage the team to achieve revenue targets, upselling goals, and applicable service incentives.
- Monitor guest feedback, reviews, and satisfaction levels and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, grooming, cleanliness, table setup, and overall floor presentation.
- Coordinate and execute banquet, event, and special function services as per operational requirements.
- Ensure proper handling of POS systems, billing, cash transactions, discounts, and payment procedures.
- Conduct on-the-floor coaching and assist in training new and existing team members.
- Monitor employee discipline, punctuality, grooming, attendance, and service behaviour during shifts.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, Bar, Banquets, Engineering, Security, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate shift reports, guest feedback records, incident reports, and operational updates.
- Ensure all operational issues identified during the shift are communicated during handover.
- Maintain proper discipline and ensure smooth communication within the team.
- Support the Restaurant Manager/F&B Manager in achieving operational, revenue, and guest satisfaction objectives.
Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of experience in F&B operations, preferably in a Senior Supervisor, Senior Captain, Floor Supervisor, or similar role.
- Strong operational and supervisory skills with the ability to independently manage a floor.
- Previous experience in a premium restaurant, hotel, club, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Strong guest handling and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to handle guest complaints and ensure effective service recovery.
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of F&B service operations and floor management.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Kitchen, Bar, Banquets, and other departments.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional grooming and a strong customer-focused approach.
Pay: ₹27,000.00 - ₹32,563.62 per month
