Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Company Driver to handle official transportation duties. The ideal candidate should have a good driving record, knowledge of local routes, and a professional attitude. The driver will be responsible for safely transporting staff, documents, and materials as per company requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive company vehicles for official travel and assignments
- Transport staff, visitors, and materials as required
- Follow all traffic rules and ensure safe driving practices
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle
- Perform daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, brakes, etc.)
- Report any vehicle issues or required repairs to management
- Maintain accurate trip logs and travel records
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off as per schedule
- Follow instructions from management regarding travel routes and timing
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Skills Required:
- Valid driving license (LMV/HMV as applicable)
- Good knowledge of local routes in Pune and nearby areas
- Safe and defensive driving skills
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Punctual and disciplined behavior
- Good communication and polite attitude
Qualification:
- Minimum education: 8th/10th pass or higher
- Valid driving license is mandatory
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experienced in company or personal driver roles
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Familiar with GPS navigation and route planning
- Flexible to work overtime or travel as required
- Trustworthy, responsible, and professional
