Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Team Leader to lead, motivate, and manage our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, achieving revenue targets, coaching team members, and ensuring efficient lead management through effective sales processes and CRM practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of BDEs to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
- Set daily, weekly, and monthly activity targets for the sales team.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and sales coaching sessions.
- Track individual and team KPIs and ensure target achievement.
- Assist team members in handling complex client discussions and negotiations.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to improve conversion rates and revenue.
- Ensure proper CRM usage and maintain accurate sales records.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Operations teams to ensure smooth lead flow and customer onboarding.
- Identify skill gaps and conduct training sessions for team development.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and guide new team members.
- Handle customer escalations and provide effective resolutions.
- Conduct call monitoring and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance data.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company processes within the team.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports for management.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales (B2B/B2C/Inside Sales).
- Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a Team Handling or Sales Leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in managing and motivating a team of Sales Executives/BDEs.
- Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills.
- Hands-on experience with sales funnels, lead management, and CRM software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify performance gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of leading by example.
Job Location: Pal, Surat, Gujarat
Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
