Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, simulation, and optimization of RF/microwave components including antennas, filters, couplers, and radome-embedded systems.
- Perform electromagnetic (EM) analysis using tools such as ANSYS HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, ADS, or FEKO.
- Collaborate with mechanical and composites teams to integrate RF systems into structural composite housings and radomes.
- Define RF test plans and carry out validation, calibration, and measurement using VNA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and anechoic chambers.
- Support R&D initiatives in advanced RF composite structures for aerospace and defense.
- Ensure compliance with relevant military and aerospace standards (e.g., MIL-STD 810, RTCA-DO-160, ITU, IEEE standards).
- Mentor and guide junior RF engineers and interns within the department.
- Document designs, test results, and prepare technical reports and presentations for internal reviews and customer interactions.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (composites manufacturing, systems engineering, quality assurance) to deliver end-to-end RF solutions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / RF & Microwave Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred).
- Strong proficiency in RF/microwave simulation tools (HFSS, CST, ADS, FEKO).
- Hands-on experience with RF/microwave measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, power meters).
- Proven expertise in antenna design, radome analysis, EMC/EMI considerations, and RF-material interactions.
- Knowledge of composite materials and structural integration for radome and aerospace applications is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with thermal, vibration, and environmental qualification testing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities for guiding junior engineers and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
