Qualifications/Trainings
- Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
- Certification in special education or inclusive education is preferred.
- Knowledge of multiple counselling approaches
Experience
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a special educator, preferably in an IB or international school setting.
- Experience with assessment tools and strategies for identifying and addressing special needs.
Skills
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and inclusive teaching strategies.
- Ability to design and implement effective intervention plans.
- The ability to work with Youth, colleagues and parents
with a high degree of professionalism
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting the holistic development of every child.
Key metrics of this role:

Provide individualized and small-group instruction to support students with learning differences, including developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other special needs.

Design and implement intervention plans tailored to students' specific needs, in alignment with IB PYP principles.

Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, areas for development, and learning styles.

Ensure students with special needs can engage effectively in classroom activities and assessments.
