Job Profile:
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing and finishing of high-end, customized furniture and interior products. The role will be responsible for supervising production activities related to architectural millwork, false ceilings, modular kitchens, wardrobes, wall paneling, and other bespoke furniture components.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of luxury furniture manufacturing, woodworking, materials, production processes, quality standards, drawings, and installation requirements. The candidate will ensure that all products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise day-to-day production activities across millwork, kitchens, wardrobes, ceilings, wall paneling, and custom furniture.
· Read and understand shop drawings, production drawings, BOQs, specifications, and cutting lists.
· Coordinate with the design, production planning, procurement, quality, and installation teams.
· Allocate manpower and machines according to production priorities and project requirements.
· Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
· Ensure all manufacturing is carried out according to approved drawings, dimensions, materials, finishes, and quality standards.
· Supervise carpenters, machine operators, polishers, assemblers, and other production workers.
· Check the quality and accuracy of work at different stages of production.
· Ensure proper execution of CNC cutting, edge banding, routing, drilling, assembly, veneering, polishing, laminating, and other woodworking processes.
· Monitor the use and handling of materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, solid wood, laminates, acrylic, glass, hardware, and other premium finishes.
· Coordinate with the finishing team to achieve high-quality PU, duco, veneer, stain, lacquer, laminate, and other luxury finishes.
· Identify production errors, dimensional issues, material wastage, and quality defects and take corrective action.
· Ensure proper assembly and trial fitting of furniture before dispatch to site.
· Conduct pre-dispatch quality inspections and ensure products are properly packed and protected.
· Coordinate with site installation teams to resolve manufacturing or installation-related issues.
· Maintain production records, daily reports, manpower reports, rejection/rework reports, and material consumption records.
· Minimize material wastage, rework, rejection, and production downtime.
· Ensure safe working practices and proper use of machines, tools, PPE, and equipment.
· Maintain discipline, housekeeping, and 5S standards within the production area.
· Train and guide production staff to improve workmanship, productivity, and quality.
· Ensure production targets are achieved without compromising the quality expected in luxury furniture manufacturing.

Technical Skills & Knowledge
· Strong knowledge of woodworking and furniture manufacturing processes.
· Ability to interpret technical/shop drawings and dimensions.
· Knowledge of CNC, panel saw, edge bander, drilling, routing, sanding, assembly, and finishing processes.
· Good understanding of furniture hardware such as hinges, drawer systems, lifting systems, channels, connectors, locks, and specialized fittings.
· Knowledge of premium materials and finishes.
· Understanding of tolerances, joinery, alignment, edge details, gaps, and finishing standards.
· Ability to identify manufacturing defects and implement corrective measures.
· Basic knowledge of production planning, manpower planning, and material planning.
· Familiarity with AutoCAD drawings and other production-related software is preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
