Job Summary
SMP Universal School is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Parent Relation Officer to build strong relationships with parents and ensure an excellent school experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be approachable, and be able to handle parent queries, admissions support, and day-to-day coordination between parents and the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents regarding school-related queries.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure timely resolution of concerns.
- Assist the admissions team with parent counseling and campus visits.
- Follow up on admission enquiries and convert leads into admissions.
- Organize and coordinate PTMs, orientations, and school events.
- Maintain accurate records of parent interactions and feedback.
- Communicate school updates, circulars, and announcements effectively.
- Ensure a high level of parent satisfaction through prompt and professional service.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in parent relations, customer service, front office, admissions, or a similar role (school experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Telugu (Hindi is an added advantage).
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
