You'll lead the design and development of next-generation RTL-to-GDSII solutions, driving innovation in low power implementation from RTL through Place and Route. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you'll own critical components of the design flow, mentor engineering teams, and build the future of electronic design automation. You'll work on complex algorithmic challenges while guiding others toward project completion and technical excellence.
- Design, develop, and own core modules of the RTL-to-GDSII solution, with primary focus on low power implementation and optimization
- Lead the architecture and implementation of Place and Route components, ensuring scalability and performance
- Mentor and guide software engineers, encouraging technical growth and driving collaborative problem-solving
- Develop and optimize algorithms and data structures for efficient design automation workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact solutions
- Drive code quality, best practices, and technical standards across the development team
Required:
- We are looking for candidates who are Graduates or Postgraduates (Bachelors/Masters) in EEE, ECE, or Computer Science (CS) from top reputed engineering colleges, with at least 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in software development, experience in EDA will be outstanding.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ with proven expertise in algorithm design and data structures
- Proven problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to architect complex solutions
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams on technical projects
- Understanding of RTL, gate-level netlists, or digital design concepts
- Knowledge of low power design methodologies (UPF – Unified Power Format)
- Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or hardware description languages
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Tcl) for automation and tool development
- Background in Place and Route algorithms or physical design automation
