Position Title: GEM Executive
Role Overview
The GEM Executive will be responsible for managing product listings, tenders, bids, pricing, documentation, order processing, and communication activities on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will ensure timely and accurate submission of bids, maintain compliance with government procurement policies, and coordinate with internal teams to execute orders smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product listing, updating, and catalog creation on the GeM portal.
- Identify suitable government tenders, evaluate requirements, prepare documentation and participate in bidding.
- Maintain product pricing, technical specifications, certifications, and compliance documents.
- Handle bid queries, RTIs, clarifications, negotiations, and order follow-ups.
- Coordinate with purchase, operations, accounts, and logistics teams for order processing and dispatch.
- Prepare MIS reports related to bids, orders, leads, win/loss analysis, and portal activity updates.
- Communicate professionally with clients, OEMs, departments, and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with GeM policies, terms & conditions, and procurement guidelines.
- Track performance of listed products and explore opportunities for new listings.
- Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of GeM portal functioning (listing, bidding & documentation)
- Excellent communication and written skills (English & Hindi)
- Good coordination, negotiation & follow-up abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving attitude
- Knowledge of government procurement policies (preferred)
- Attention to detail and multitasking capability
Educational & Experience Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Graduation (Any stream)
- Experience: 0–3 years (preferred) in Government Tendering, GEM portal, or e-Procurement.
- Candidates with experience in Defence, Security, or Technical products will be an added advantage.
