Job Title: CNC Machine Operator (Aluminum) Department: Production
Ǫualification Experience
· ITI / Diploma in CNC / Machinist / Mechanical
· 2–5 years experience in CNC machine operation
· Experience in aluminum profiles or window systems preferred
Software Knowledge (Preferred)
· Basic knowledge of CAM software (e.g., CAM Soft 4)

Job Purpose
To operate CNC machines for machining aluminum profiles as per program and drawings, ensuring high accuracy, productivity, and minimal material wastage.
Key Responsibilities
1. CNC Machine Operation
· Operate CNC machines for aluminum profile machining
· Load and unload profiles safely on the machine
· Execute machining operations as per program (drilling, routing, milling, cutting)
· Monitor machine during operation to ensure smooth functioning
2. Program Handling
· Load CNC programs from system/software
· Select correct program based on job order
· Verify program parameters before execution
· Make minor offsets and corrections if required
3. Setup G Alignment
· Properly clamp and align profiles before machining
· Check reference points and zero settings
· Ensure correct tooling and fixture setup
· Perform trial run / first piece inspection
4. Ǫuality Control
· Check finished components as per drawing/specifications
· Measure dimensions using vernier, caliper, gauges, etc.
· Ensure hole positions, slot sizes, and cut accuracy
· Avoid rework by maintaining precision
5. Tool G Machine Maintenance
· Inspect cutting tools (end mills, drills, cutters) regularly
· Replace worn-out tools on time
· Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance
· Report machine errors, alarms, or breakdowns immediately
6. Material Handling
· Handle aluminum profiles carefully to avoid scratches/damage
· Identify profiles as per job order before machining
· Coordinate with helpers for loading/unloading
7. Safety
· Follow PPE guidelines (safety shoes, gloves, goggles, ear protection)
· Ensure proper clamping before starting machine
· Follow machine safety protocols and emergency procedures
8. Productivity G Coordination
· Achieve daily production targets
· Minimize machine idle time
· Coordinate with programming team, supervisors, and ǪC
· Reduce material wastage and optimize cycle time
Required Skills G Competencies
· Ability to read engineering drawings and CNC programs
· Knowledge of CNC machining processes
· Familiarity with aluminum profile machining
· Basic understanding of tooling and offsets
· Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Understanding of CNC interface/control panel
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand for long hours
· Ability to handle profiles and tools
