The Data Specialist I will monitor and process interfaces for managed clients, working closely with customers to ensure all activities are completed accurately and on time. This role is responsible for ensuring timely transmission of exports and proper receipt and processing of imports according to defined schedules. This is a US shift role (6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST).
What You’ll Get to Do
- Monitor and manage payroll file imports and exports through Dayforce, Ceridian Transmission Centre, and NuaPay.
- Manually process and validate payroll files in alignment with payroll calendars and standard procedures.
- Investigate file failures, identify root causes, and perform reruns as needed.
- Generate and reconcile payroll reports and export files to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manage customer cases and queries through CRM tools and shared inboxes, providing clear communication and follow-up.
- Maintain up-to-date SOPs, task records, and documentation in SharePoint.
- Collaborate with onboarding and implementation teams to support client transitions and interface monitoring.
Skills and Experience We Value
- Less than 1 year of experience in an HR or related role.
- Basic knowledge of XML and SQL is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours and support operational needs.
- Ability to work weekends when required.
- Understanding of monitoring techniques and customer service principles.
- Experience working in a customer-facing office environment is an asset.
