Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Department: Kitchen Operations
Reports To: Head Chef / Kitchen Supervisor
Job Summary
A Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. The role involves food preparation, cleaning, stocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items.
- Receive, store, and organize food supplies and inventory.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain cleanliness in garbage disposal areas.
- Support chefs and cooks during food service operations.
- Refill ingredients and kitchen supplies as required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.
- Ensure kitchen floors, storage areas, and refrigerators are clean and organized.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Working Conditions

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
