GeM Sales Executive / GeM Portal Specialist
Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced GeM Executive to manage our company's presence on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The candidate will be responsible for product listing, bid participation, order processing, catalog management, compliance, and coordination with government departments to drive business growth through GeM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's seller account on the GeM portal.
- Create, update, and optimize product/service listings and catalogs.
- Identify relevant bids, tenders, and reverse auctions on GeM.
- Prepare and submit bids within specified timelines.
- Drive sales through bids and achieve assigned quota.
- Actively visit the related departments and contribute in business expansion.
- Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for documentation and pricing.
- Handle order acceptance, fulfillment tracking, invoicing, and payment follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with GeM policies, procurement guidelines, and documentation requirements.
- Resolve buyer queries, complaints, and portal-related issues.
- Monitor bid status, contract awards, and competitor activities.
- Generate reports on bidding performance, order execution, and revenue generated through GeM.
- Maintain updated records of certifications, authorizations, and statutory documents.
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of the GeM Portal and government procurement processes.
- Experience in bid management, tender participation, and reverse auctions.
- Understanding of product catalog creation and category mapping.
- Knowledge of GST, invoicing, and procurement documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate in Business Administration, Commerce, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in GeM portal management and government sales.
- Experience in IT hardware, software, networking, office automation, or related industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
