1. Maintenance & Repair:Plan, supervise, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles.Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems in vehicles.Repair or replace defective parts, engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and other systems.Ensure timely servicing and adherence to manufacturer guidelines.2. Fleet Management Support:Monitor vehicle performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts inventory.Coordinate with drivers and fleet supervisors for scheduled maintenance.3. Safety & Compliance:Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, road regulations, and company policies.Conduct regular safety inspections and recommend corrective actions.Train drivers on basic vehicle checks and preventive care practices.4. Process Improvement:Identify recurring issues and propose long-term solutions to reduce downtime.Optimize maintenance schedules to improve fleet efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Evaluate and suggest new technologies, tools, or equipment for maintenance operations.5. Team Coordination:Supervise junior technicians and mechanics.Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to the maintenance team.Liaise with external service providers for specialized repairs or overhauls.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
