Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and target-driven Tele Counsellor to engage with prospective students, provide career guidance, and convert enquiries into admissions. Candidates with prior experience in EdTech, skill development institutes, training academies, or study abroad consultancies will be preferred. Similar roles across education and study-abroad sectors typically emphasize lead conversion, student counselling, CRM management, and admission support. (Indeed)
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to prospective students and parents.
- Counsel students regarding courses, career pathways, and admission procedures.
- Follow up on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, walk-ins, and referrals.
- Maintain lead records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions and marketing teams.
- Manage WhatsApp, email, and phone enquiries professionally.
- Build strong relationships with prospective students and parents.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in:
- EdTech companies
- Skill development institutes
- Training academies
- Study abroad consultancies
- Education sales or admission counselling
- Strong communication skills in Malayalam and English.
- Proven ability to convert enquiries into admissions.
- Experience handling CRM systems and lead management.
- Strong persuasion, follow-up, and negotiation skills.
- Graduation preferred.
Preferred Profile
- Candidates from study abroad firms, educational consultancies, training institutes, or academic counselling backgrounds.
- Experience in telecalling, admissions, counselling, or inside sales within the education sector will be highly advantageous. (Indeed).
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
