Job Summary:
Tender Engineer is responsible for managing the complete tendering process for civil construction projects, including tender identification, quantity estimation, cost analysis, bid preparation, and submission. The role involves reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare competitive and technically compliant bids. The Tender Engineer coordinates with clients, consultants,vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure accurate costing and timely submission of tenders
1. Tender Identification & Evaluation
- Track and identify relevant tenders from portals and clients.
- Analyze tender requirements, eligibility, scope, and risks.
- Prepare bid/no-bid recommendations.
2. Tender Preparation & Submission
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits.
- Raise RFIs and technical clarifications.
- Coordinate preparation of technical and commercial bids.
- Ensure accurate costing, documentation, and compliance.
- Submit tenders within deadlines without errors.
3. Documentation Management
- Maintain updated records of BOQs.
- Technical specifications
- Certifications
- EMD/BG documents
- Vendor quotations
4. Cost Estimation & Pricing
- Work with procurement, finance, and technical teams for pricing.
- Prepare competitive and profitable quotations.
- Conduct market rate analysis.
5. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with legal, Review contract clauses, payment terms, LD clauses, and technical risk
- Identify commercial and execution risks in contracts.
- Maintain confidentiality of bid information.
6. Vendor & Subcontractor Management
- Obtain quotations from suppliers/subcontractors.
- Compare vendor others technically and commercially.
Build vendor database and relationships.
7. Tender Portal Management
Handle registrations and updates on portals such as:
GeM
CPPP
State tender portals
Metro/Rail/NHAI/CPWD portals
Private procurement portals
Monitor portal deadlines and corrigenda.
8. Reporting & MIS
Maintain tender logs and status trackers.
Prepare weekly/monthly tender reports.

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in tendering, estimation, quantity surveying, or bid management for civil construction/Road infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
