We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who can bridge business needs, regulatory requirements, and engineering execution. This role owns requirements from discovery to delivery and works closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Customer Success teams.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical thinking, clear communication skills, and hands on experience in regulated software environments.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Discovery and Analysis

Lead structured stakeholder interviews and workshops using both exploratory and targeted questioning techniques

Elicit, analyze, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements

Apply root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Ishikawa) to identify underlying business problems

Conduct end-to-end process walkthroughs to understand current state (“as-is”) and define future state (“to-be”)

Document detailed requirements using user stories, use cases, and process narratives

Ensure requirements are complete, unambiguous, and testable
Business Process Analysis and Solution Design

Model and document business processes, system workflows, and data flows
-
Create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes to support requirement clarity
-
Define business rules, approval workflows, and exception handling scenarios
-
Partner with technical teams to translate business needs into solution designs
-
Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices (RTM)
-
Support gap analysis and impact assessments for new features or changes
SDLC and Agile Delivery Support

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams throughout the SDLC

Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria
-
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews

Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, UAT plans, and validation coverage

Participate in defect triage and ensure requirements alignment during issue resolution

Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., GAMP, validation frameworks where applicable)
Documentation and Modeling

Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications

Develop UML diagrams (activity, sequence, use case) to support system understanding

Create ERDs and data mapping documentation for integrations and reporting

Maintain version-controlled documentation aligned with audit and compliance needs

Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation completeness and traceability
Data Analysis and Validation

Analyze datasets to validate requirements and support decision-making
-
Perform data mapping, transformation analysis, and reconciliation checks
-
Identify data quality issues and work with teams to resolve inconsistencies
-
Support reporting requirements and KPI definition
Stakeholder Communication and Facilitation

Facilitate cross-functional discussions to drive alignment and clarity
-
Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language
-
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure continuous engagement

Guide meetings toward actionable outcomes and documented decisions

Provide regular updates on requirement status, risks, and dependencies

Required Experience and Skills

6–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst (or BA/PO hybrid role)

Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation

Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid SDLC environments

Proven ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Experience with SaaS or enterprise systems

Ability to independently drive clarity in ambiguous situations
Preferred Experience

Experience in regulated environments (pharma, healthcare, supply chain, etc.)
