Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated R&D Chemist with a Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry to join our Research and Development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out organic synthesis, process development, and analytical work to support ongoing research projects and new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct organic synthesis, purification, and characterization of compounds.
- Develop, optimize, and scale up chemical processes for laboratory and pilot-scale production.
- Perform reaction monitoring and maintain detailed records of experiments and observations.
- Analyze samples using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques (TLC, HPLC, GC, IR, NMR, etc.).
- Assist in developing and improving synthetic routes for new chemical entities or intermediates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and company procedures.
- Collaborate with analytical, production, and quality teams for project execution.
- Prepare technical reports, experimental data sheets, and documentation for R&D projects.
Required Qualifications:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Strong understanding of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience in laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Good analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
