Job Summary
The Depot Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the depot, including inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation coordination, manpower management, customer service, and compliance with company policies. The role ensures efficient depot operations while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage overall depot, warehouse, and logistics operations.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct stock audits.
- Monitor transportation and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Lead and supervise depot staff and manpower planning.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with clients and resolve operational issues.
- Control operational costs and improve productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service level adherence.
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline (Logistics/Supply Chain preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse/depot operations.
