Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. The Receptionist will manage front desk operations, assist with patient registration, appointments, billing coordination, and ensure a welcoming experience for everyone visiting the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and attendants courteously.
- Register new patients and update existing patient records.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
- Guide patients to the appropriate departments and services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and hospital registration data.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments.
- Collect registration fees and assist with billing procedures when required.
- Maintain daily appointment and patient visit records.
- Handle patient feedback and escalate concerns to the appropriate department.
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with hospital policies.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by hospital management.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Preferred).
- Diploma in Front Office Management or Hospital Administration is an added advantage.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil.
- Basic English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, Hospital Management Software).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Working Hours

- Rotational shifts as per hospital schedule.
