Full Stack Developer (MERN + React Native)
Company: Evify · Type: Full-time, on-site · Location: Surat Experience: 2–5 years
About the role
We're looking for a full stack developer who's genuinely comfortable across the MERN stack and React Native — someone who can move between our backend APIs, web dashboard, and mobile apps without hitting a wall in any of them. You'll take ownership of features end to end, help review incoming work, and grow your scope as you prove yourself. This is a hands-on role with a real path toward a senior/lead position as the team expands.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain features across the stack — backend APIs, the web dashboard, and the mobile apps.
- Work with our MongoDB data layer: modeling, queries, and keeping data access correct and efficient.
- Contribute to the React Native apps (Rider App and Teams App) on both Android and iOS.
- Help review the development partner's milestones — reason about the code, catch issues, and flag anything that needs a closer look.
- Learn the platform architecture deeply and help keep our technical documentation current.
- Write clean, tested, maintainable code and take part in code review and PR review.
Must-have skills
- 2–5 years building and shipping production web and/or mobile applications.
- MERN stack: MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js — with real depth, not just tutorial-level familiarity.
- React Native: hands-on experience building and shipping mobile apps for Android and iOS.
- Strong grasp of REST API design, authentication, and data modeling.
- AWS: hands-on experience deploying and running applications on AWS (e.g. EC2, S3, along with related services).
- Solid Git / GitHub workflow — branches, pull requests, code review.
- Ability to pick up an unfamiliar codebase quickly and build a clear mental model of how it works.
- Good communication — you ask sharp questions, write down what you learn, and explain your reasoning.
Nice to have
- Multi-tenant / SaaS product experience (tenant isolation, role-based access).
- Experience with IoT / device data, GPS/telematics, or high-volume data pipelines.
- Familiarity with Redis or CI/CD workflows.
- Experience working alongside an external vendor or agency, or holding a code-quality bar on a team.
- Interest in growing into a lead role as the in-house team scales.
