Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost control, contracts administration, billing, and financial reporting for construction projects. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and timely financial closure of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and quantity take-offs from drawings.
- Perform cost estimation and rate analysis for construction activities.
- Handle client billing and subcontractor billing processes.
- Verify measurements and prepare running account bills.
- Coordinate with site engineers, vendors, and contractors.
- Monitor project costs and maintain budget control.
- Prepare and evaluate tender documents and quotations.
- Maintain project documentation and billing records.
- Track material consumption and reconciliation reports.
- Review drawings and specifications for accurate estimation.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of contracts management & quantity surveying
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and estimation
- Proficient in billing, cost control, and budget management
- Understanding of construction laws, FIDIC/standard contracts
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, word
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in construction / real estate projects
- Experience in high-rise and residential projects are preferred
