Role: Sr. Proposal Engineer
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in proposal preparation, estimation, costing and tendering for Air Pollution Control Equipment and EPC projects.
Key Equipment Experience
Candidates with experience in the following equipment/systems will be preferred:
- Dust Collector Systems
- Bag Filter / Baghouse Systems
- Pulse Jet Bag Filters
- Cyclone / Multi-Cyclone Dust Collectors
- Wet Scrubber Systems
- Fume & Dust Extraction Systems
- Industrial Ventilation & Exhaust Systems
- Ducting Systems
- ID/FD Fans & Blowers
- ESP / Air Pollution Control Systems – added advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals for Air Pollution Control and EPC projects.
- Study and interpret RFQs, tenders, client specifications, drawings and technical documents.
- Understand client requirements and develop appropriate APC system solutions.
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQ, MTO and techno-commercial offers.
- Prepare equipment-wise costing and evaluate vendor quotations.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Vendors and Project teams.
- Prepare technical compliance statements, deviations and commercial offers.
- Handle client technical clarifications and pre-bid queries.
- Support tendering, negotiation and final offer preparation.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.
Qualification
B.E. / B.Tech in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Proposal / Estimation / Tendering.
- Experience in Air Pollution Control Systems / Dust Collection Systems.
- Strong knowledge of Bag Filters, Dust Collectors and related APC equipment.
- Experience in EPC projects and techno-commercial proposal preparation.
- Good understanding of BOQ/MTO, costing and estimation.
- Experience in vendor coordination and quotation evaluation.
- Good communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and tender documents.
- Strong analytical and commercial approach.
