Position Overview
We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to support the Sales team in preparing accurate techno-commercial proposals for centrifuge machines and related equipment. The role involves cost estimation, technical evaluation, and coordination with internal departments to ensure competitive and feasible quotations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Techno-Commercial Estimation
* Prepare detailed cost estimations for centrifuge equipment based on client requirements.
* Analyze RFQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
* Calculate material costs (SS, MS, bought-outs), manufacturing costs, and service components.
* Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) in coordination with Design and Production teams.
2. Proposal & Quotation Support
* Generate techno-commercial offers in coordination with Sales.
* Ensure accuracy in pricing, scope, exclusions, and commercial terms.
* Support Sales team during client discussions with technical clarifications.
* Revise estimates based on client feedback and negotiation stages.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with:
Design Team: for technical inputs, drawings, and validation.
Purchase Team: for latest material prices and vendor quotations.
Production Team: for manufacturing feasibility and costing inputs.
Sales Team: for client requirements, timelines, and follow-ups.
4. Cost Optimization
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction through design alternatives or vendor options.
* Maintain and update cost databases for materials and standard components.
* Benchmark costs against previous projects and market trends.
5. Documentation & Reporting
* Maintain records of all estimates, quotations, and revisions.
* Develop standard costing templates and estimation formats.
* Track win/loss analysis for submitted quotations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
