Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced BlueCrest ADF Workflow Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale document processing workflows integrated with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) systems and Microsoft Azure services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), Logic Apps, ETL/ELT pipelines, and BlueCrest document processing, with a focus on high-volume batch processing, workflow orchestration, and enterprise integrations.
You will play a key role in building scalable solutions that automate document generation, print processing, and data movement across enterprise platforms while ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow & Data Pipeline Development
- Design, develop, and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Logic Apps workflows.
- Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for document ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
- Develop automated workflows for high-volume batch document processing.
- Orchestrate end-to-end enterprise data pipelines across multiple systems.
BlueCrest Integration
- Integrate Azure-based workflows with BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) print and mail processing platforms.
- Automate print file generation, scheduling, and output routing.
- Support document batching, sorting, postal optimization, and production workflows.
- Ensure seamless integration between upstream systems and document processing platforms.
Azure Integration
- Develop integrations using:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Azure Blob Storage
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Implement data transformation for XML, JSON, CSV, PDF, and print stream formats.
- Integrate enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, and other business systems.
Performance & Reliability
- Optimize workflows for high-volume transaction processing.
- Implement monitoring, logging, retry mechanisms, and error handling.
- Improve pipeline performance and ensure SLA compliance.
- Troubleshoot workflow failures and production issues.
Governance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit standards.
- Maintain workflow documentation, reusable components, and technical standards.
- Participate in code reviews and deployment activities using Azure DevOps.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years of experience in Data Integration or Workflow Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Logic Apps.
- Experience integrating BlueCrest (Pitney Bowes) document processing systems.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and batch processing frameworks.
- Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, PDF, and print stream file formats.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Python scripting.
- Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps (CI/CD).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Quadient Inspire or other Customer Communication Management (CCM) platforms.
- Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Azure Service Bus and Event Grid.
- Experience in Banking, Insurance, or Healthcare domains.
- Understanding of print/mail optimization and postal compliance.
