We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance department with day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts
- Support in the preparation of financial reports and budgets
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Assist with payroll preparation and related tasks
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings (if applicable)
- Handle petty cash and ensure accurate documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding billing and payment queries
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform general administrative tasks related to finance
