Shree Niketan School is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Student Counselor to support the academic, emotional, social, and behavioral development of students at our Thiruvallur Campus.
Position
Student Counselor
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in student counseling or school counseling
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent psychology
- Ability to provide academic, emotional, behavioral, and career guidance to students
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership
- Experience in conducting counseling sessions, workshops, and awareness programs
- Knowledge of CBSE school environment and student welfare practices preferred
Eligibility
- Master's Degree in Psychology / Counseling Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Child Psychology or related field
- Diploma or Certification in Counseling will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
