Job Summary:
The Logistics Executive will be responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory processes/ movement and billing operations within the warehouse. The role ensures accurate inventory control, efficient billing practices, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.

Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorders to prevent stockouts.

Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.

Manage inventory software systems and update records as needed.
-
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues.

Monitor and handle inward & outward
-
Reverse logistics and categorisation of return materials

Optimum utilization of warehouse space for optimum storage capacity

Team handling

Daily RST /PIC and record it and share reports

Vehicle planning and optimum utilization

Maintain good rapport with sales, commercial, logistics team and dealers

Vendor management

POD collection 100 % every month

Follow all process 100 % related to inward, outward, documentation and inventory management

Billing Operations:
-
Prepare and process billing documents accurately and on time.
-
Verify billing information and ensure it aligns with inventory records.

Coordinate with the finance department to resolve billing discrepancies.

Generate reports on billing activities and present findings to management.
-
Ensure compliance with billing regulations and company policies.

Preparation of E-way bill, LR and other documents for movements
-
Billing process include order receipt, order punching and releasing, pick list generation, invoice & IRN generation etc

Circulate all reports related to billing, stock and credit limit on timely manner

Maintain good rapport with sales, commercial, logistics team and dealers
Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory and billing transactions.

Generate periodic inventory and billing reports for management review.

Ensure proper documentation of all processes and transactions for audit purposes.

Communicate effectively with team members and management to address issues and provide updates.

Train and mentor Trainees on inventory and billing procedures.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Logistics &Supply Chain Management or related field.

1-3 years of experience in inventory management and billing, preferably in the 3PL industry.

Proficiency in inventory management software and billing systems.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
