Job Description:
Pharos Books is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Book Cover Designer to join our in-house publishing team in New Delhi. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in designing professional book covers and preparing print-ready files for publishing.
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in book cover design/publishing
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe InDesign (mandatory)
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in book cover design and print layout
- Strong understanding of typography, color, and publishing standards
- Ability to create complete print-ready files (front, back, spine, bleed)
- Experience in publishing/design studio preferred
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Design book covers (front, back, and spine)
- Prepare print-ready and digital files
- Coordinate with editorial and publishing team for revisions
- Ensure high-quality and consistent design output
