- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand product specifications.
- Machine Setup: Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machinery settings (such as bend angle and plate thickness) for each bending operation.
- Operation & Programming: Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems and carefully position, align, and feed sheet metal into the press brake.
- Quality Assurance: Measure and inspect finished parts against design tolerances using calipers and gauges to ensure they are free of defects.
- Maintenance: Perform routine troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintenance on the press brake to maintain operational efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to manufacturing health and safety protocols, including wearing required PPE and maintaining a clean workspace.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or a vocational certificate in CNC operations, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 8 years of hands-on experience in press brake operation or sheet metal fabrication.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
