Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in accounting data.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and accounting documentation
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and expense reports
- Assist with bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
- Maintain filing systems for financial documents
- Assist with GST / tax filings and compliance requirements
- Support audits and financial reviews when required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
- 0–3 years of experience in accounting or finance role (freshers with strong knowledge may apply)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or similar (if have)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Salary
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (depending on experience)
