Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards HCM Functional Consultant with strong expertise across the complete Hire-to-Retire lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Payroll, Core HR, Compensation & Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and ESS/MSS, along with a strong understanding of GCC/Qatar payroll regulations, WPS compliance, and End-of-Service benefit calculations.
The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing JD Edwards HCM solutions while collaborating with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure efficient business operations and regulatory compliance.
Key ResponsibilitiesJD Edwards HCM Functional Support & Implementation
- Lead implementation, enhancement, and support activities across JD Edwards HCM modules.
- Manage and support the complete Hire-to-Retire lifecycle, including Employee Master, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, Absence Management, Time & Labor, and Learning & Development.
- Gather business requirements, perform gap analysis, and provide functional solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
- Configure, test, and deploy JD Edwards HCM solutions based on business needs.
Payroll Management
- Configure and manage end-to-end payroll processes within JD Edwards.
- Maintain payroll rules, earnings, deductions, statutory calculations, and payroll validations.
- Support payroll processing, reconciliation, auditing, and reporting activities.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure payroll accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with WPS (Wage Protection System) requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
- Configure and support End-of-Service Benefits (EOSB) and Gratuity calculations as per Qatar/GCC labor regulations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Configure and administer salary structures, allowances, benefits, and incentive programs.
- Support compensation planning and benefits administration processes.
- Ensure compensation policies comply with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Absence Management & Time & Labor
- Configure and maintain leave policies, accruals, carry-forward rules, encashments, and holiday calendars.
- Support Time & Labor functionality, attendance management, and workforce scheduling requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations related to employee leave and working hours.
ESS/MSS & Employee Experience
- Configure and support Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS) functionalities.
- Enhance employee and manager experience through process automation and self-service capabilities.
- Support onboarding, employee data management, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
Testing, Support & Documentation
- Perform Functional Testing, SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution.
- Support implementation, go-live, and post-production stabilization activities.
- Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and user documentation.
- Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor for business process improvements and system optimization.
- Participate in workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution reviews.

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards HCM.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
