What You'll Do
- Own the sales P&L — set and deliver ambitious revenue, volume, and margin targets across your territory.
- Build & expand distribution — appoint, develop, and manage a strong dealer, distributor, and retailer network across rural and semi-urban markets.
- Lead the team — recruit, mentor, and drive a field sales force of ASMs, Sales Officers, and field executives to peak performance.
- Go-to-market strategy — design pricing, schemes, credit, and promotion strategies tailored to dairy farmers and cooperatives.
- Market intelligence — track competition, raw material trends, and demand shifts to keep us ahead.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, supply chain, and marketing to ensure availability and timely delivery.
- Reporting — deliver accurate forecasts, sales analytics, and MIS to leadership.
What We're Looking For
- 10–15+ years in sales, with significant experience in cattle feed / animal feed / dairy / agri-inputs / veterinary or allied FMCG-rural.
- Proven track record of scaling revenue and building distribution networks in rural markets.
- Demonstrated team leadership at a regional or national level.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA (Sales/Marketing)
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and people-management skills.
- Fluency in [local language] and Hindi/English.
