Job Summary
The Finance Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, billing oversight, payroll processing, and statutory compliance. The role ensures financial accuracy, timely salary disbursement, and adherence to regulatory norms within the healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities Accounts & Financial Operations
- Maintain daily accounts, ledgers, and financial records
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and cash transactions
- Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll for hospital staff (doctors, nurses, admin, support staff)
- Calculate salaries, incentives, overtime, and deductions
- Manage statutory deductions like PF, ESI, PT, TDS
- Ensure timely salary disbursement and payslip generation
- Maintain payroll records and compliance documentation
Compliance & Statutory Requirements
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and financial regulations
- Handle PF, ESI filings and returns
- Support audits (internal and external)
- Maintain proper documentation for statutory inspections
Billing Coordination & Revenue Tracking
- Coordinate with billing team for revenue reconciliation
- Monitor daily collections and financial inflow
- Identify discrepancies and ensure corrective actions
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare financial reports, payroll summaries, and MIS reports
- Provide insights on cost control and budget utilization
- Assist management in financial planning
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
- Additional certification in accounting/payroll preferred
Experience
- 2–5 years in accounts/finance role
- Experience in hospital or healthcare setup preferred
- Hands-on payroll processing experience is essential
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Payroll processing and statutory compliance expertise
- Proficiency in Tally / Excel / Hospital Billing Software
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Confidential handling of financial data
Preferred Profile
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals
- Knowledge of healthcare billing cycles
- Familiarity with HR coordination for payroll inputs
