Job Description: Group Training & Development Manager (GTDM)

Location: Indore (Overseeing multiple outlets/locations)
Role Objective
The Group Training & Development Manager is responsible for enhancing the competencies of the workforce across all verticals (Arena, Nexa, True Value, and Commercial) by identifying training needs, overseeing MSIL certification compliance, and driving a culture of continuous learning to meet Maruti Suzuki’s global standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Training Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Training Calendar for the entire sales group.
- Align training initiatives with the dealership’s business goals and Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) requirements.
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) through performance data, mystery shopping reports, and feedback from HODs.
2. MSIL Certification & Compliance
- Monitor and ensure 100% compliance for MSIL L1 & L2 certifications for all mandatory roles.
- Design and deliver high-impact training modules on Soft Skills, Sales Processes, Customer Handling, and Product Knowledge.
- Conduct Induction Training for all new joiners to ensure they understand Rukmani Motors' culture and Maruti Suzuki's operational standards.
- Perform "On-the-Job Training" (OJT) by visiting various outlets and observing live interactions on the showroom floor or workshop.
4. Performance Tracking & Auditing
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through post-training assessments and ROI analysis.
- Track the Group Training Index (GTI) and other MSIL scorecard parameters related to manpower quality.
- Collaborate with the HR department to link training outcomes with incentive eligibility and career progression.
5. Leadership & Team Coordination
- Mentor and guide Unit-level Trainers (if applicable) at different branch locations.
- Coordinate with the Group HR Manager and HODs to identify "High Potential" employees for leadership development programs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4-8 years in Training & Development, preferably within the Automobile Retail sector (Maruti Suzuki experience is a significant advantage).
- Education: Post-graduate degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
- Certifications: Professional Trainer certification or MSIL-certified trainer status is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations) and knowledge of MSIL’s training portals.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional public speaking, interpersonal communication, and the ability to motivate a diverse workforce.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Percentage of staff completing mandatory MSIL certifications.
- Improvement in Customer Satisfaction Scores (CSI/SSI) post-training.
- Reduction in employee turnaround time for "Product Knowledge" competency.
- Adherence to the annual training budget and calendar.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
