Job Description – Fashion Consultant
Job Summary
The Fashion Consultant is responsible for handling bridal and premium customers, guiding them in blouse design selection, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from consultation to delivery. The role requires strong fashion knowledge, excellent customer handling skills, and the ability to coordinate with tailoring, embroidery, and production teams to ensure high-quality bridal blouse execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Consultation & Styling
Handle bridal and premium customers professionally
Understand customer requirements, wedding theme, saree details, and preferences
Suggest suitable blouse designs, neck patterns, sleeve styles, and embroidery concepts
Guide customers using catalogs, samples, and design references
Provide styling suggestions based on body type, occasion, and latest trends
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the process
2. Design Guidance
Recommend trendy bridal blouse patterns and embroidery styles
Stay updated with latest bridal fashion trends and market preferences
Assist customers in finalizing colors, fabrics, and embellishment work
Coordinate with designers for custom design requirements
3. Measurements & Order Management
Take accurate blouse measurements and ensure proper fitting
Record customer requirements clearly in order sheets
Follow up on trial schedules, alterations, and delivery timelines
Coordinate with tailoring and embroidery teams for timely execution
Ensure quality check before final delivery
4. Sales & Customer Relationship
Convert customer enquiries into confirmed orders
Handle pricing discussions and order finalization
Promote premium embroidery and add-on services
Build strong relationships with brides and repeat customers
Handle customer concerns and provide proper solutions
5. Coordination & Operations
Act as a bridge between customers, tailors, embroidery team, and management
Ensure smooth workflow inside the showroom
Support junior fashion advisors whenever required
Maintain customer records and order tracking properly
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of bridal blouse designs and current trends
Excellent customer handling and communication skills
Good understanding of blouse measurements and fitting
Strong sales and negotiation ability
Coordination and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and tailoring processes
Qualification
Diploma / Degree in Fashion Designing (preferred)
Minimum 2–5 years experience in boutique / bridal studio / tailoring unit
Experience in handling bridal clients is preferred
Additional Requirements (Preferred)
Experience in bridal wear / Aari work / hand embroidery
Ability to handle premium bridal customers confidently
Strong fashion sense and design aesthetics
Good teamwork and coordination ability
